deviantART was on TV + join the art challenge!
A long time ago (about 24 hours), in a galaxy far, far away (down the road in Hollywood), comedian and television host Chris Hardwick introduced a segment on his late-night Comedy Central show — aptly titled midnight (https://www.deviantart.com/midnight) (get it?) — that got many of us at deviantART all aflutter.
First of all, if you love the Internets and you haven't seen midnight (https://www.deviantart.com/midnight) yet, you're missing out on some serious lulz. A few nights a week, Hardwick invites some comedian pals on the show for some Geek-Centric Improv Comedy. Sort of like a British Quiz Show brought to you by Reddit. Or "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with slightly less dancing, but an equal amount

Okay, I could ramble on forever about this, but I'll give all of you a much-deserved shorter version.
Between all of the stress of home-life and my Freshman year in high school, I have not had much time to do anything but browse. That, and all of the screaming over a failing math grade by my mother and father has killed any creativeness that belongs on here, at least in my mind. Learning disabilities are a bitch, no? Especially when your father boasts that " I was diagnosed with ADHD, but I didn't take my meds and I still did calculus without a calculator and passed at the top of my class. You're fucking stupid for not passing algebra, and E
If you agreed to the Deviantart terms and conditions, Deviantart has permission to sell your art *without your permission* for profit that you won't get a share of. I moved to tumblr to prevent my art from being stolen. For that reason, my Deviantart account is innactive, and acts as an archive from my works during January 2013- August 2015.
1- How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Since January of 2013. So... approximately two and a half years, although I've been relatively inactive for the past year.
2- What does your username mean?
Lana2452 is like... my username for every site I go on. Everything. I'm easy to find. But Lana is my name and 2452 has been my student ID code for over 6 years, so the number kind of stuck to my memory.
3- Describe yourself in three words
Lesbian, procrastinator, friendly.
4- Are you left or right handed?
Righty
5- What was your first deviation?
This ->
6- What is your favorite art to create?
Traditional. I like doing heavy pen lineart
Alrighty then.
I know that all deviants eventually post a journal entry along the lines of this one- apologizing for a long period of absence and promising future uploads- so if you're still reading this after the first cliche sentence, then congrats. You must really like me.
So: excuse time. I might still be highschooler, but I'm in the IB program (and that's pretty rigorous) and at this point, all my core classes are AP (and that's also rigorous). I haven't had much time to draw because my school life has been hectic and I've been dealing with family issues for the past few months. Plus, drawing isn't even all of what it takes to get thin
I'm not sure whether I should be happy that Death the Week (Death the Kid Week) is ongoing on tumblr or be disappointed because this is the week school starts, and I should be focusing on that instead of the prompts.
